Who this policy covers

This policy applies to personal information handled through ChauffeurServices.ca and our transportation-planning communications. Depending on the transaction and location, Canadian federal or provincial private-sector privacy law may apply.

Transportation may be fulfilled by an independent local operator. That operator may also have its own privacy obligations and policy for information it controls.

Information we collect

• Contact details for the booker and passenger, including names, email addresses and mobile numbers.
• Trip details such as pickup and drop-off locations, dates, times, flights, stops, passenger counts and special instructions.
• Vehicle and capacity information, including luggage, child seats, mobility devices and oversized equipment.
• Company, billing and reference information for business or group requests.
• Technical and usage information such as browser, device, approximate location, referral source, pages viewed and interactions when analytics or security tools are enabled.
• Messages, change requests, service records and other information you choose to provide.

Why we use information

• To respond to questions, prepare quotes and coordinate requested transportation.
• To match an itinerary with a suitable local operator, vehicle class and service plan.
• To communicate confirmations, pickup instructions, changes, receipts and service notices.
• To process or support payment, accounting, fraud prevention and dispute handling.
• To operate, secure, troubleshoot and improve the website and booking experience.
• To meet legal, regulatory, insurance and record-keeping obligations.

Consent and booking for another person

By submitting information, you consent to its handling for the stated or reasonably related purposes, subject to applicable law. If you provide another person’s information, you confirm that you are authorized to do so and to receive relevant trip communications on their behalf.

You may withdraw consent where permitted, but doing so can prevent us or the assigned operator from completing an inquiry or service.

How information is shared

We share only the information reasonably required for the purpose. Recipients may include assigned or prospective local transportation operators, booking and payment providers, hosting and communications vendors, analytics or security providers, professional advisers, insurers and authorities where legally required.

Service providers may process information outside your province or Canada. Information in another jurisdiction may be accessible to courts, law-enforcement or regulators under local law. We remain responsible for information under our control and use contractual or other safeguards appropriate to the arrangement.

Retention and safeguards

We retain information only as long as reasonably required for service, accounting, legal, safety and dispute purposes, then delete, anonymize or securely dispose of it in accordance with our practices and applicable law.

We use administrative, technical and physical safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the information. No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.

Cookies, analytics and choices

The website may use essential storage for site operation and, once enabled, analytics or advertising measurement to understand traffic and booking attribution. We will update the consent controls and this policy before enabling any non-essential technology that requires consent.
